You will start in Uganda, where you come face to face with rare mountain gorillas deep in the forest. Next, you head to Kenya’s world-famous Masai Mara, where the African plains are full of lions, elephants, and zebras. Finally, you end your trip on the beautiful island of Zanzibar, with its white sandy beaches and turquoise waters. Whether you love wildlife, adventure, or simply relaxing by the sea, this safari has something special for every type of traveler.
When you land at Entebbe International Airport, one of our team will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name on it. They will take you straight to your hotel in Entebbe town, where you can rest after your journey.

This morning, you head back to the airport to catch an early flight with Aerolink to Kihihi Airstrip. Enjoy the views from the plane as you fly over Uganda’s beautiful hills and green valleys. When you land before midday, your driver guide will meet you and take you to your lodge near Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. The drive takes about two hours. Spend the afternoon relaxing at the lodge or try optional activities like bird watching, forest walks, or a visit to a nearby village.

This is the highlight of your Uganda visit. After breakfast, you head to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest for gorilla trekking. Bwindi is home to nearly half of all the mountain gorillas left in the world, with around 20 gorilla families living here. The forest also has over 360 bird species, 113 types of mammals, and more than 200 butterfly species.
At the park office, a ranger will brief your group before you set off into the forest. The trek can take anywhere from 2 to 7 hours depending on where the gorillas are. Once found, you get one full hour with them. Watching a mountain gorilla up close is a rare and deeply moving experience. Return to your lodge in the afternoon to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

This morning you fly back to Entebbe and then connect to a flight heading to Kenya’s Masai Mara National Reserve. By evening, you will be settled into your lodge on the edge of one of the most famous game reserves in the world. The next three nights will be spent here.

These two days are all about the incredible wildlife of the Masai Mara. You will go on morning and afternoon game drives across the open plains, where you are very likely to spot zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, elephants, buffalos, and rhinos. Big cats like lions, cheetahs, and leopards are also regularly seen here.
Your lodge may also offer night game drives, where you can spot nocturnal animals like aardvarks and honey badgers under the stars. Other optional activities include visiting a traditional Maasai village, guided bush walks, and black rhino tracking.

Start the day with one last early morning game drive before heading to the airstrip for a light aircraft flight to Nairobi. From Nairobi, you board a connecting flight to the beautiful island of Zanzibar. On arrival, you will be met and taken to your accommodation, where you will spend the next four nights. We will match you with the best accommodation to suit your style — from a relaxed beachside lodge to a luxury five-star resort.

Relax on the Beaches of Zanzibar
These three days are yours to enjoy Zanzibar however you like. The island has gorgeous white beaches, warm clear water, and colorful coral reefs perfect for snorkeling and diving. You might even spot dolphins, sea turtles, or whale sharks depending on the time of year.
If you prefer to explore, there are many exciting excursions available. You can visit Stone Town, a historic UNESCO World Heritage Site full of culture and charm. Other popular trips include Jozani Forest, Prison Island, spice farm tours, and local village visits. For the more adventurous, activities like kite surfing, sea kayaking, windsurfing, mountain biking, and sailing are all available on the island.

Your amazing 11-day safari has come to an end. After a final breakfast at your hotel, you check out and are driven to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in time for your flight home. You will leave with unforgettable memories of gorillas in the mist, golden savannah sunsets, and Zanzibar’s crystal-clear waters.
